Irresistibly weird pop. Crooked grooves, twitchy anthems, feral joy, dressed up in respectability. That's the hype: come and learn the truth. Numerous songs from an unknown back catalogue played with some skill and enthusiasm. Reasonably enjoyable. Bespoke films for each song. Diverting between-song chats and a quiz (with prize) are likely. Favourable comparisons are Joy Division, Talking Heads, King Crimson, The Cardiacs and The Moody Blues. 'Frighteningly ambitious, clever... thoroughly enjoyable, adventurous and full of joy' (IsThisMusic.com).
