In the wild heart of the Northern Rivers, a young girl claws her way through poverty, chaos and cow shit in this deeply Aussie coming-of-age comedy. Growing Up with Nits and Fleas is a filthy, funny, one-woman show about surviving childhood and what it means to grow up in a world when you’ve got nothing but attitude, imagination and a shit-ton of head lice.
