In A Bad Way

Edinburgh 2026

Grá is sick. With what, she's not sure. Blood clots, maybe? Foreign Accent Syndrome, possibly? Bum cancer – most definitely; the ginger one from Desperate Housewives has it, like. In a GP in Dublin, she's with the Doctor (for the fifth time this month) and she won't rest until she has a diagnosis. A darkly comedic, touching, fast-paced one woman show about hypochondria.

This is an archived listing from the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In A Bad Way is by Isolde Fenton, listed under Theatre in the Fringe programme. It plays at Gilded Balloon Patter House, 3 Chambers St, EH1 1HT, 5 August to 31 August.

The show runs 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 14+. Tickets from £9. Content warnings: Strong language.
