Love Letters to the Public Transport System

Edinburgh 2026

In a fast-moving world where no one stays in one place for too long, Love Letters to the Public Transport System is a show that seeks to find and thank the people who transport us daily – to friends, to lovers, to work, to moments of significance in our lives. But who do you thank, and how do you find them? 'Fragile and utterly beautiful' ***** (Herald). 'A traditional monologue of extraordinary exuberance and power' **** (Scotsman). This will be a special stripped-back version of the hit Fringe show, reimagined for Shedinburgh.

This is an archived listing from the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Love Letters to the Public Transport System is by Molly Taylor, listed under Theatre in the Fringe programme. It plays at Shedinburgh @ Assembly Checkpoint, 2 Bristo Place, EH1 1EY, 24 August.

The show runs 55 minutes and is suitable for ages 12+. Entry is free.
