Rowan Hackett: Brewed

Edinburgh 2026

A show about one woman's complicated relationship with alcohol, reality and her family, illustrated through a love of the beautiful game. Full of clever one-liners and bags of self-deprecating wit, Brewed follows Rowan's journey from the carefree vodka and lemonade years through to IPA, parenthood and pizza crunch suppers. Rowan plays a pressing game with great dribbling, fast thinking and moments of genius. Her gung-ho style leaves her vulnerable to the counter-attack and she doesn't cope too well with balls into the box. But when she's on top of her game, she's a match for anyone!

This is an archived listing from the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Rowan Hackett: Brewed is by Rowan Hackett, listed under Comedy in the Fringe programme. It plays at Just The Tonic at The Caves, Rowantree Bar, EH1 1LG, 6 August to 14 August.
