Best Comedy Award winner, Melbourne Fringe. Most Outstanding Comedy nominee, Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Thirty years ago, Sammy J swapped comics with his school gardener. That moment set off a chain of events that led to the birth of his daughter, committing a crime and ended with a federal policeman searching his attic. Hero Complex is the five-star, must-see show of Aussie comedy legend Sammy J – a real-life, hilarious comic-book adventure that proves sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction.
